Consulting Engineering Expertise
The Company
is initially structured to provide the services of its Consulting Engineer,
Stephen Linwood, who has in excess of 30 years experience of working for
globally recognised companies in the process and energy industries. His career started in process plant
contracting progressing through specialist engineering into engineering and
project management. For the
last 9 years he has taken project management responsibility for complete
turnkey and supply power plant contracts to the value of $300 million.

Services
The company
can provide a range of consulting engineering services from technical
expertise to specific customer support during the life cycle of any process
or power plant installation, whether it is during the design and build,
upgrade, relocation or dismantling phase.
These
services can be divided into eight categories: -
Conceptual Study Services specific to power plant projects which
includes economic, planning and technical development of the plant
configuration, power train selection and balance of plant requirements.
Contract
Services which includes the evaluation of contracting
strategy, development of technical/commercial documents for
design, supply and construction contracts and related activities
through award of these contracts.
Contract
Risk Analysis
which includes the application of proven processes
and techniques to specific contracts or phases of contracts,
such that identified uncertainties are quantified and processes
initiated to mitigate the effects of these risks.
Contract
Execution Services which includes troubleshooting,
scope changes or problem solving of project issues significant
enough to jeopardise the smooth execution of the contract.
Contract
Closure Services which includes expert assistance
to customers during the closure phase of contracts, where
contract execution problems and final plant acceptance have
created a series of complex issues and claims which require
commercial and technical resolution.
Site
Management Services which includes the provision
of site supervision and management services during the erection,
commissioning, performance testing and final acceptance phases, providing specialist expertise to strengthen the
customer’s field management team.
Plant
Refurbishment Services which includes the provision of technical and management services to assist in the
scoping, definition and execution of plant upgrade, re-powering
or plant relocation contracts.
Technical
Expert Services which includes assistance to
customers involved in litigation and arbitration disputes
and insurance claims, where technical expertise is required
to provide an independent evaluation of the disputed contractual
matters.
